Week Three

Due Today: Turn in adjusted files for 3 images from the shooting for last class. One of these should be the same files that generated your print. Use image processor to reduce resolution to 1200 x 1200 pixels in longest direction. Include all layers.

Begin Project 1: Identify, gain access to and shoot optimal subject matter. Images should be shot by Wed 1/26.

Week Two

Due 1/19

Reading: Chapter 1, 3

Quiz: Covers specifically pages 3-16

Discussion: pages 18-29. Choose 3 of the question/answer combinations that seems most relevant to you, or interesting. Then chose one that you don't agree with or which seems less relevant. Be prepared to defend your views.

Shooting: At least 36 images of your choice. Shoot style/subject/etc. that is typical for you. Shoot jpeg high quality or RAW. Be prepared to talk about a few of your images.

Bring to class: Camera, memory card, card reader or tether.
